Dr. Dakuku Peterside served as Director-General/CEO of Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (2016-2020) and Chairman of the Association of African Maritime Administrations. A former Nigerian National Assembly member and Rivers State Commissioner of Works, he supervised construction of 1,000km of roads and 18 bridges.

He founded the Development and Leadership Institute Nigeria, authored "Strategic Turnaround, The Story of a Government Agency," and has published over 200 articles on crisis leadership and government reform.
